![]() December Newsletter ![]() A Special Message As many of you probably already know, I am transitioning out of the role of Cubmaster this month. It’s been 6 years wonderful years of watching dozens of scouts come through our program. I can honestly say this has been the most challenging but most rewarding experience of my life. Thank you all for giving me this amazing, life-changing opportunity. The kindness you and your scouts have shown me as I figured out and grew in this role is something I will carry with me for life. But, I am not leaving the Pack yet! My youngest Bear still have one more year until crossover. So I am transitioning in the role of Assistant Cubmaster until then. Matt Brown has kindly and bravely stepped up to take on the role of Cubmaster. I am so excited to see what new and wonderful things he will bring to the program. ~See you Wednesday for my last meeting as Cubmaster! Cubmaster Sam Scout Law Highlight: Kind “A Scout is Kind. Treat others as you want to be treated.Never harm or kill any living thing without good reason Summer Camp Info It’s time to start thinking about summer camp—as far away as they seems right now. We reserve spots this year for several reasons. First so we can get spots at the sessions we need and so we can get the early bird discounts. Second to give families plenty of time to plan accordingly for next summer. Lions, Tigers, and Wolves: Den leaders elected Butte Creek Scout Ranch for the July 11th to 14th session. This amazing camp is only an hour away and offers a wonderful program set around riding horses. Leadership will register everyone as a group, so all you have to do is sign-up at the button below if your scout wants to attend. Please see the button below for more info and to sign-up. Bears and Webelos: Your den leaders should talk with you about options soon (if they haven’t already). They will also need sign-ups soon and will register the den as a group. Arrow of Lights: You will attend camp with the troop you will cross into! If you haven’t selected a troop yet, that’s okay—you have time. A great question to ask the troops you visit is where they are going to camp this summer. If you have selected a troop, make sure they know soon you plan to attend with them.
